The launch event of the PASS4CORE-ITA (Parking Areas implementing Safety and Security for Core Network Corridors in Italy) Action was held on the 28th of October 2021 at the Interporto Quadrante Europa in Verona, with the participation of the representatives of numerous beneficiaries and regional institutions, as well as of the CINEA Agency itself. The action is aimed at creating or upgrading a total of 13 safe parking areas for heavy vehicles, certified according to the European regulation on Safe and Secure Truck Parking Areas, which identifies 3 possible degrees of certification according to the services and infrastructures available for drivers.
