On December 13, 2024, the final event of the PASS4CORE project took place, organized by SEA Milan Airports in collaboration with Interporto Quadrante Europa at the newly built secure and protected parking area within the Malpensa Airport.
The event, attended by a diverse group of speakers and authorities, including the President of Lombardy Region, Attilio Fontana, was an opportunity to present the project’s achievements.
Thanks to co-financing from the CEF Programme, PASS4CORE has contributed to creating Italy’s first network of SSTPAs with 1,350 new safe and certified parking spaces located along the TEN-T network, supporting safe, efficient, and sustainable logistics. The event concluded with the inauguration of the new SSTPA within Milan Malpensa Airport, attended by the authorities that participated to the morning session.
