On April 14, 2025, the opening ceremony of the new safe and secure parking area (SSTPA) for heavy vehicles was held at Interporto Toscano Amerigo Vespucci S.p.A., thanks to the funds granted by the CEF Programme managed by CINEA.
This truck parking facility represents the sixth area certified by ESPORG vzw through DEKRA Italia and was developed within the PASS4CORE initiative, which, concluded in December 2024 and, led by Consorzio ZAI, enabled the creation or renewal of 13 SSTPAs in Italy along the TEN-T corridors.
