On 6 and 7 December 2021 the ICARUS partners and stakeholders met in Trieste to discuss the results achieved in the last 3 years thanks to the project, funded by the Interreg Italy-Croatia Program.
During the final conference, the partnership presented the results of the 8 pilot actions, aimed at implementing web platforms and applications to provide real-time information on sustainable transport solutions available in the cross-border area, as well as new or improved cross-border intermodal services, supported by data collections and studies to encourage modal shift and behaviorual change among citizens and tourists.
The ICARUS project does not stop there: several partners explained how they will benefit from the activities carried out, transferring knowledge and good practices to other areas. The synergies created with other EU-funded projects will lead to new opportunities to further develop new and improved solutions for sustainable transport in cross-border territories.
