On December 12, a site visit took place with CINEA to several project areas involved in the PASS4CORE and PASS4CORE2 initiatives, funded by the CEF Programme to develop a network of secure and protected parking areas for heavy vehicles along the TEN-T network in Italy.
The day began at the Pordenone Freight Village (a P4C2 partner) and continued with a visit to one of the two SSTPAs built in Spinea by CAV S.p.A. as part of P4C. Subsequent visits were made to the areas of Interporto Padova and Società Cooperativa Porta Bagagli, both located in Padua’s industrial area and part of the P4C project.
The visit concluded with an inspection of the parking area of Costruzioni San Michele Srl, located in Verona’s industrial area, and the inauguration of the SSTPA at Malpensa, which took place following the final event held the next day at Malpensa Airport.
