On July 8, 2024, the event “State aid for rail and multimodal transport” was held in Trieste, organized by the Autonomous Region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia and dedicated to the topic of state aid for the transport sector.
The meeting aimed to present the recent proposal of the European Commission for new rules on state aid for rail, inland waterway and sustainable multimodal transport, while also promoting a fruitful dialogue between regional representatives of the logistics and railway sectors, in order to contribute to the public consultation launched by the European Commission on this topic.
