On 9th June 2022 the working group of the Mediterranean corridor met in Barcelona, with a particular focus on passenger transport.
The event, organized by the European Commission in collaboration with the Generalitat de Catalunya, saw the participation of the coordinator of the Corridor, Mrs. Iveta Radičová, and a large group of stakeholders, representing the most important nodes and hubs of the Mediterranean Corridor.
Among these also the Piedmont Region and SRC Piemonte S.p.A., whom we supported in the presentation of the RAIL-TO-AIR Action, financed by the CEF Program and coordinated by CINEA, which aims to improve the connection between the urban hub of Turin and the Caselle airport thanks to over 14 million funds that were made available.
