On March 14, 2024, as part of the Let Expo 2024 trade fair in Verona organized by Consorzio ZAI, the event “The network of safe and secure parking areas for heavy goods vehicles in Italy. The PASS4CORE initiative: status and prospects” was held at the UIR stand.
The event was attended by the coordinators of the three PASS4CORE projects, two of which are already financed by CINEA under the CEF program, while one has been submitted under the CEF 2023 call for proposals.
The aim of the projects is to plan and implement the first network of SSTPAs (Safe and Secure Truck Parking Areas) in Italy. A round table was also held to discuss the implementation of the projects and the certification of SSTPAs.
