On the 10th and 11th November 2021, the coordinator of the Baltic-Adriatic corridor of the TEN-T network, Ms. Anne Jensen, visited the core nodes of the Veneto Region. During the visit, organized as part of the “8th Dialogue on interoperability, interconnectivity and innovation”, Ms. Jensen had the opportunity to get a first-hand experience of the interventions realized thanks to the CEF “Veneto Intermodal” Action on regional infrastructures, from the port of Venice and Chioggia to the rail-road terminals of Verona and Padova. As a matter of fact, these are important nodes of the TEN-T network that have been able to make the most of the opportunity offered by European funds to develop and increase intermodality in the region and throughout the Italian territory.
